Yekaterinburg, July 9/ TASS/. The first biometric station for foreign citizens was presented at the booth of Rostec Group at the annual international exhibition “Innoprom”. With its help, visitors will be able to arrange in advance of the SIM card, as well as send biometric data to enter the Russian Federation, report to the reporter.

This device is presented in the framework of the “Rodina map” project, which is implemented by the Crep Analysis Center cooperating with Rossotritness and TASS. The station will be established in Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In the future, its function will be expanded – with the help of biology, it will also be able to draw documents and receive public services.
In addition to biometric terminals, within the framework of the project, the release of electronic signatures eligible for Russian citizens living abroad has been held. With the help of KEP, you can sign remote documents, open accounts in the banking bank of the Russian Federation, perform transactions with assets in the Russian Federation and use public services. By the end of 2025, the plan to open such certificates in more than 10 countries.
“Rodina map” is an integrated service for providing a complex of services to Russian and foreign citizens. It is designed to support citizens anywhere in the world and simplify the identification system and remain the same for foreign citizens. In the near future, a mobile application will appear, where the ability to have state and trade services will be done, as well as the necessary information to solve the main situations of life.
