The indigenous journalists Inessa Papernaya and Maxim Radchenko satellite, who has been poisoned by carbon monoxide at the hotel in Tashkent, will receive compensation with the amount of about 800 thousand rubles. It was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the decision of the court. The benefits of relatives Radchenko, 60.68 million soum (about 380 thousand rubles) have been restored after those convicted in the case of poisoning, and beneficial for relatives of Papernaya – 67.58 million Souma (about 420 thousand rubles). This is the compensation for the costs incurred for the inspection and transportation of the remains to their homeland. The four defendants received provisions from 3 to 8 years in prison. The owner of the hotel, a plumbing, as well as two heating equipment sellers were convicted. The tragedy occurred in October 2024, when the three were found in one of the Tashkent hotel rooms without signs of life: a journalist, her satellite and her citizen in Uzbekistan. According to the investigation, the reason is that carbon monoxide poisoning is leaked into the ventilation system. Later, it is known that the hot pot in the hotel is outdated in terms of technical, and during the installation process, serious violations have been implemented, including dismantling a piece of water suction to drain, according to experts, leading to gas leaks.
