Moscow, August 16 /TASS /. The opening ceremony of the works of the winners of the International Contest “Art and World: The great victory of life” took place in the museum of victory on Poklonnaya Gora in Moscow, reporter.
The art and peace exhibition of the Viking people: The great victory of life is not only a glority for the heroic past, but also an emotional call to protect the world. Each exhibition reflects the topics of the war tragedy, the great miracle of the people and the hope for the future without conflict, the museum notes.
The contest was initiated by Ano “Eurasia”, the international patriotic movement “Victory 9/45”, Artpatrol Communications Project and Omelchenko Gallery. The project is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the great patriotic war.
Representatives of 15 countries participated in the competition, including Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Serbia, Austria, USA, Thailand and China. Artists have sent more than 900 works of many different genres including drawing, graphics, sculptures, images and digital art. The exhibition includes about 150 works, including more than 130 paintings, 6 art objects, 5 sculptures, 3 photos and 3 digital works.
The concept of the exhibition is based on three main topics. The first is “the chronicle of the great victory.” She talked about people's exploitation and memories of heroic events and personal stories. Second – “The world has no war” – reflects the desire for a bright future. Third – “Folk masterpiece” – including the job chosen through the open vote of the audience.
