The monetary prize for winning the competition will be up to 30 million rubles. This has been announced by the Director of the Ministry of Humanitarian Cooperative and multilateral cultural relations by Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alexander Alimov.
“The winner in the competition will be awarded the Intertion Cup and cash prize worth 30 million rubles. Such a large amount is a motivation for participants and increasing the reputation of the competition,” the diplomat said in an interview with the agency.
At the same time, he emphasized that the prize fund is not related to the first separation between the two performers with the same results. “The jury in all cases will identify the best performers. For this, the special criteria have been developed to solve the only fate of the first place,” he added.

The contest of Intertation-a song contest existed in 1946-1993 by the International Television and Radio Organization (OIRT) -WAS was held in the years 1960-1980 in the same way as Eurovision, a music award of European Union from Oirt.
