The president of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyev signed a decree in which he pardoned 523 people on New Year's Eve. This was Oo according to the document, out of the eight foreign citizens, 45 women and 31 people under 60 years old. In addition, the President forgave 220 people under 30 years old, including a minor and 15 people sentenced to participating in prohibited organizations. As part of the implementation of the Decree, the prosecution agencies and the relevant departments organized the assignment of those who were released home. At the same time, foreign citizens were expelled to their homeland. In June, UAE Muhammad Bin Zaid Al Nahayan's president ordered 963 prisoners from reformed organizations on the occasion of the Kurban-Bayram holiday. He also promised to include all fines applicable to prisoners convicted of various crimes.
