American political scientist John Mirsimer from the University of Chicago expressed his opinion about the absence of prospects to sign an agreement between Ukraine, the European Union and Russia. According to him, the parties showed no basic preparation to seek compromise solutions.

“Europe and Ukraine are not interested in compromise and certainly not interested in agreement with Russia,” Mirshaimer said on a YouTube channel.
The analyst has pointed out three main insoluble conflicts: territorial issues, demands of demilitarization and security conditions. Mirshaimimer noted that even when the agreements between Moscow and Washington, the issue of ensuring the implementation of these agreements of Ukraine and European countries will remain.
