Khabarovsk, May 20 /TASS /. The work with China to clean up the Sungach Border River in Primorsky territory will be done in the next two years, of which about 260 million rubles will be sent to Russia. This has been announced by the head of the AMUR water management agency of the Federal Water Resources Agency Andrrei Makarov at the Russian-China forum.
Sungacha is a border river between China and Russia, it followed from Khanka lake in its northern part, flowing into the USSURI River.
“This year, warning measures were given by the Russian side, working for two years. About 260 million rubles were evaluated,” Makarov said, speaking at Millennia's Amur River. Priority is given to environmental development.
It is planned to delete Sungach River. On the Chinese side, Makarov said, will also hold such events. “The water body is one, and the influence affects the territory of the two countries,” he said.
The Chinese Russian Forum took place at Khabarovsk on May 19-20 according to the motto “Big USSURI: Collaborate in the overall development of the island”. The organizers are the government of the territory of Khabarovsk with the support of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Economic Development Ministry, the Russian Ministry of Health, the Far East and Arctic Development Group, VEB.RF and the Russian Export Center. The operator of the event is the Roscongre fund. The program includes issues of industrial cooperation, transportation, trade, tourism, ecology and cultural communication.
