According to the agency, returning to 2003, a criminal group was revealed in the Kyzylorda and Karaganda areas, who were transporting heroin and opium from Uzbekistan through Kazakhstan to Russia. After that, 35 kg of heroin and 28 kg of opium was seized.
Some of the group members were detained, but one of them had disappeared and all of this time was wanted. The investigation believed that he personally participated in drug transportation.
After 20 years, the man was found in Russia. Now he is in the center of detention first. He faced 10 to 15 years in prison with the confiscation of property.
