The number of crimes committed in Russia in the first quarter of 2025 increased by 15.3% over the same period last year. This has been announced by the Deputy Head of the Department of Migration of the Ministry of Home Affairs of Russia Vitaly Yakovleev.
Unfortunately, we note the negative trend of the increase in the number of criminal manifestations of migrants, in particular, the number of crimes of foreigners has increased by 15.3%. If 12.5 thousand criminals were committed in Russia, he said at the international conference, sustainable development and migration.
As follows, the documents were presented by Yakovlev, the number of people committed, during the specified period, decreased compared to the index for January to April 2024 and reached 7.8 thousand by 2025, the largest number of criminals in Uzbekistan (35.5%). At the same time, the number of administrative protocols given to foreign citizens in the first quarter of this year has decreased by 1.1% to 668.9 thousand.
The International Conference “Peace, Sustainable Development and Migration” was held on Thursday in Ashgabat. It has the participation of representatives of the migration departments of Kazakhstan, Russia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as international organizations.
