Electronic art (EA), known for games like FIFA and Battlefield, has announced the conversion to a hybrid work model, requiring the presence of at least three days a week in the office. It is reported by the verge that refers to IGN.
General Director Ea Andrew Wilson and President EA Entertainment Laura Mile sent a letter to the employees, where they emphasized the importance of Islamic dynamic energy on offline work for creativity and innovation.
The new policy will affect employees living within a radius of 48 km from EA offices. The next people will be able to work remotely, but only with leadership's approval. Remote work near the office model will be abolished in 3-24 months. The exception for remote work now will request to solve individuals of leading managers. According to IGN, the staff expressed dissatisfaction.
Changes after recent contractions in EA, including 300-400 people leave and abolish projects, such as Titanfall game.
