The Pastargomsky District Court of Uzbekistan's criminal cases has sentenced a 51 -year -old local resident to restrict the freedom to serve contracts with the Russian Defense Ministry.
In May 2021, the defendant, according to the Court, came to St. Petersburg to work. In January 2024, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on military service for a year, then he was sent to the construction work in the Leningrad area. Last October, he was authorized for health and returned to Uzbekistan earlier this year. At home, he informed the law enforcement agencies on his services in the ranks of Russian aircraft.
The court recognized the 1974, committed crime in accordance with the provisions of the Penal Code of the Uzbekistan Republic for mercenaries and sentenced him to limit freedom for 4 years.
When making a judgment and court, as prescribed in documents, it has considered sincere recognition, as well as repentance and cooperation with the investigation. The man was not sentenced before.
