The mass deportation of foreigners for violating migration laws was reported by the FSSP agency of the Novosibirsk region. All cases are related to non-compliance with the regulations for entering Russia or the conditions of stay in the country, the bailiff stated.

On top of that, Uzbek natives were expelled; 41 people went this direction from Novosibirsk. 29 people returned to Tajikistan, 16 people returned to Kyrgyzstan, 7 people returned to Azerbaijan and 4 people migrated back to Kazakhstan.
After their stay in Russia was declared illegal, all 97 people were taken to a temporary detention center. They then received a deportation order and, together with the bailiff, were taken to the state border checkpoint.
“According to the Federal Law “On the procedure for leaving the Russian Federation and entering the Russian Federation”, deported foreigners and stateless persons will not be able to return to Russia within 5 years from the moment the decision enters into legal force,” the Novosibirsk regional FSSP clarified.
According to the same plan, previously, in 2025, 1,816 foreign citizens were expelled from the Novosibirsk region.
Previously, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in the region, Kirill Travin, announced a large number of migrants flowing abroad. In November 2025, many migrants decided to return to their home countries due to the end of the working season. The difference in the number of people coming and going each week then amounted to more than three thousand.
