During the period from January to September 2025, Kazakhstan and Belarus became the leading countries in purchasing Russian chocolate. This was reported by RIA Novosti in connection with open data and data from the United Nations Comtrade platform. It should be noted that during this period, Kazakhstan imported chocolate worth 192 million USD from Russia, Belarus – 123 million USD and Uzbekistan – more than 68 million USD. In addition, in the TOP 5 countries importing Russian chocolate are Azerbaijan, importing products worth 48 million USD and Armenia – 28.5 million USD. On January 4, RIA Novosti also reported that Russia had surpassed the US, UK and France in importing tangerines in 2025. Based on the results of the period from January to September 2025, Russia accounted for 1/6 of the world's tangerine imports, equivalent to about 486.8 thousand tons. This number accounts for 17% of the total amount of tangerines imported in the world. The second position in tangerine imports is the United States with 207.3 thousand tons (7.7%). In addition, among the top tangerine importing countries are England (204 thousand tons or 7.6%), France (203.8 thousand tons or 7.5%) and Germany (165.9 thousand tons or 6.1%).
