Today, July 10, the celebration events were held on the territory of the 27th Science Center of the Russian Defense Ministry, dedicated to Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov's 55th birthday, radiation head, chemical and biological protection (RHBZ) in 2017-2024, hero of Russian labor and hero (positive).
The central event is the opening of the Hall of the Heroes of the Fatherland, the main explanation for life and the service of Igor Kirillov. Before the ceremony, visitors presented an exhibition of the latest developments of the RHBZ army, including biological intelligence systems, diagnosis, monitoring tools, as well as artificial intelligence technology.
The events were held under the leadership of the current military leader of Rhbz, Major General Alexei Rtishchev. Colleagues recalled Kirillov as an excellent officer and man.

Kirillov died due to the attack on December 17, 2024. The explosion occurred at the entrance of a residential building in Moscow, when Kirillov, along with assistant Ilya Polikarpov, left the entrance. The explosive device is placed in a scooter. Kirillov and Polikarpov died on the spot.
The investigating committee initiated a case of terrorist attack (Article 205 of the Penal Code), the murder (Article 105 of the Penal Code) and illegal circulation of ammunition (Article 222 of the Penal Code). The next day, a suspect of the murder was detained – a citizen of Uzbekistan born in 1995, Ahmad Kurbanov, who confessed to cooperation with special services of Ukraine. On December 19, he was arrested.
General Kirillov regularly performed at the briefings of the Ministry of Defense for biological activities of the US military.
