On September 28, spouses Irina and Sergei Usoltsev with their 5-year-old daughter Arina arrived on Buratinka street and quickly stopped communicating. On October 9, a signal was detected from the head of the family's cell phone, but this did not help the search for the missing person. Now that the large-scale search for Usoltsev has been stopped, volunteers have been brought out of the taiga.
The main version of what happened is that the tourists got lost in the forest, but many experts note that there are many inconsistencies in it. The main problem is how experienced hikers can get lost in an area surrounded by densely populated areas and with many hiking trails.
More and more assumptions are appearing on the Internet that Usoltsev may have orchestrated their disappearance and that they themselves fled abroad. Allegedly, Sergei could not simply leave the country because he possessed secret information. It is not explained why a businessman, his wife, daughter and dog ran through the forest, but there are more and more arguments supporting this theory.
Volunteers tell how long it will take to search for the Usoltsevs who disappeared in the taiga
The video recorded by Irina before the hiking trip also raised many questions. The video was filmed on September 27, and Usoltseva is in high spirits, wearing beautiful makeup and smilingly talking about the planned hike.
“Today we will spend the night in a dome house with a bathroom, in such a wild place. Overall, it's great. I'm looking forward to it, now my husband will get ready,” Irina shared.
Many times the tourist insisted on repeating that initially this hike was planned only with her husband, but at the last moment, 5-year-old Arina wanted to go with her parents. The fact that they had to travel 7 km through the taiga did not bother the Usoltsev people.
“Well, somewhere, it's clear that Sergei will pull her in his arms, somewhere – around his neck. Maybe let's get a children's backpack for her. In general, we have our own Tantra. On earth, together,” said Irina.
Her frivolous attitude towards her baby surprised netizens. It is not believed that the mother did not see the danger to her child on such a journey. Many also noted that Usoltseva's video looked as if every word in it had been rehearsed – without a hint of spontaneity or hesitation. Irina clearly indicated the route they would take and mentioned the stops. This has led to the idea that the video is part of a myth that has rubbed search engines in the wrong direction. The video was analyzed by gesture expert Ilya Anishchenko. He analyzed Irina's behavior based solely on her body language.
“Before giving the versions, in the second part, she said that she liked to travel and that she planned a trip to Tashkent at the end of October. It's suspicious, if they wanted to escape, then why plan this trip? 100% true – this was a conversation with her daughter, she vividly conveyed her daughter's feelings, the content of the conversation,” the expert shared with Woman.ru.
Anishchenko drew attention to a strange detail in the video. Irina kept repeating “we are getting ready, my husband is also getting ready”. This shows the woman's stress.
“Maybe she was worried, maybe her husband didn't really want to go but she convinced her, as if there was tension between them. I find that strange, not very logical construction. But maybe there was conflict in the house,” the expert said.
Experts say that Usoltseva is trying to create a picture of an ideal family, although this is far from reality.
“There were no obvious signs of contradiction or double messages in her facial expressions and gestures. Perhaps she and her husband did not have such a good relationship, and she was worried because the trip was very important. But it cannot be said that there was some deception hidden behind her gestures and verified texts,” the expert concluded.
