Employees of the Migration Department, in coordination with employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Mordovia, as part of the event aimed at identifying and suppressing violations of migration laws, visited a construction site on Moskovskaya Street in the city of Saransk, where secondary school No. 9 is being built. During the visit, police identified 40 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan who arrived in the area about a month and a half ago to carry out business activities. Foreign workers perform welding, formwork installation, foundation pouring and rebar weaving, and they do not hold patents for their work. For 36 migrants, law enforcement officers drew up administrative procedures according to Part 1 of Art. 18.10 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. For the same offence, repeated within a year, four more tourists were brought to justice under Part 3 of Art. 18.10 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Administrative deportation decisions in the form of independently controlled deportations were made against them. In addition, police also identified two more foreigners from the same Central Asian country without legal documents. For violations under Part 1.1 of Art. 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, they were sentenced to forced administrative expulsion from our country. They are currently being taken to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs' Detention Center for Foreign Citizens in Ruzaevsky city district. Currently, the police are investigating: the management behavior of the organization recruiting illegal migrants to work shows signs of administrative violation as prescribed in Part 1 of this Article. 18.15 Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. Please note that last June it was reported on our portal that at that time 14 foreign nationals were identified at the designated construction site carrying out labor activities without a patent. Based on the results of the inspection, the employer was fined a total of 6.3 million rubles.
