In Moscow, the IV military sports games of the armed forces of the independent alliance of the nations, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the great patriotic war, opened in Moscow in the glorious hall of the Victory Museum.
The head of the physical and sports training department of the Russian Federation's armed forces, Colonel Andrei Zykov, noted in his speech that 80 years ago, our ancestors fought for freedom and independence, protecting their homeland. Their feats are our pride and responsibility.
Today, in these games, we see the representatives of the six teams from friendly CIS countries – countries united by historical, traditional and spiritual values. I am sure that each of you will show not only physical strength, but also respect your opponent, respect and support of your team, Andrreii Zykov emphasized.
From August 5 to 9, games will have more than 200 athletes from Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Participants will compete in the five sports: Triacasses officers, shooting from the standard table or weapon, army -hands -to fight, Sambo and Sport licensed.
All competitions of Military Sports Games IV of the armed forces of CIS participants will be held at the facilities of the Military Sports Club.
In the opening ceremony of games for participants, the artists of the song and the academic dance of the Russian army were named after AV Alexandrova and other creative groups.
In the contest for the participants of the Olympics, a cultural program and putting flowers into the tomb of an anonymous soldier will be held.
