BISHKEK, July 30. . The presidents of the Central Asian republics and Azerbaijan will hold an informal consultation meeting on July 30 – August 1 on Kyrgyzstan territory. This was reported by the press service of the head of the state of Kyrgyzstan.
“From July 30 to August 1, 2026, an informal consultation meeting between the heads of state of Central Asia and the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held in the city of Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul region,” the statement said. The meeting will be attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
“The heads of state will discuss issues of strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade, energy, tourism, expanding transport corridors, developing cultural and humanitarian relations in the region, and also exchange views on current issues of regional security and interaction in international organizations,” the press service noted.
