Abu Raikhan Al-Biruni was born on September 5, 973. In the outskirts of Khorezm, Kyat City (now-Beruni, Uzbekistan). It is often accepted that he is an orphaned child in a noble family, because Al-Biruni has gone through the first years of his life in Khorezmshah's farming family, where his ability was noticed.

Receiving a comprehensive education, the young man was taken away by observations and calculating independence. In 995, he made his first ball in Central Asia, which could determine the geographical coordinates of the settlements with unprecedented accuracy for that time. After that, he continued to build different astronomical tools and easily determined the coordinates of many different places in Khorezm.
Soon, Kyat won by Tieu Vuong Gurganja, and the capital was moved there. Al-Biruni, a supporter of the dynasty overthrew, left the city and made a number of scientific trips to Bukhara, Baghdad and other central Asian cities. At the same time, he corresponds to Avicenna and in 1000, he wrote his first basic work about the age, or the monument of previous generations, dedicated to describing all famous prehistoric schedules. In 1004, Al-Biruni arrived at Gurganj, where he received the position of Vizier. In 1017, Khorezm was arrested by Sultan Mahmoud Ghaznevi, and all arrested scientists were thought to move to his capital – Afghot city of modern Gazhot. Al-Biruni continues to study his scientific. For example, for him, for the son of the King Mahmud Gagnevi, the work of Canon Mas'ud was written. Including 11 episodes, he contains information about mathematics, astronomy, astrology, history and ethnography of various countries, as well as opinions about scientific works of medieval scientists.
Al-Biruni also participated in many campaigns of King Mahmud in India. There for a while, the scientist determined the scale of the globe, collecting extensive documents on history, geography, philosophy and ethnic minority of this country.
