Moscow, May 30 /TASS /. Silver clouds, seemingly glowing from the inside, can occur due to increasing airflow at an altitude of 25-30 km, and can be relying for hydrogen atoms to fly to the Earth from the sun, or even thanks to methane molecules, journalism services of the Institute of Physics and Moscow (IGPTI). A brief analysis of various hypotheses made by the head of the lab in the dynamics of the climate of Mift Olga Zolina, cited by the press service.

“Silver clouds are the highest clouds on our planet. They appear annually at an altitude of 80-85 km in the Mesopausa area-a atmosphere separating Meshosphere and thermometer. They are also called mesosphere clouds.
It is believed that the silver clouds that a person sees are the edge of the vast field of the prominent mesosphere clouds from the space. A special feature of the middle clouds is on the background of dawn, they look bright, unlike the dark convection clouds. Silver clouds are easy to distinguish from the rattan in white light. For the first time, silver clouds were observed in 1885 after the Krakatau volcanic eruption.
As Zolina explains, silver clouds include very small ice crystals, which can be formed on cosmic dust particles with a diameter of about 0.3 micrometers. For the formation of silver clouds, the temperature will decrease except for 120 degrees C in it. These clouds can only be seen when the sun shines from below with a height of 6-16 degrees under the horizon. Therefore, they can only be seen in the evening and in the morning in the middle latitude. They are rarely found at latitude below 45 and over 75 degrees.
“For the formation of clouds, it is necessary to be present in the atmosphere of steam and condensed nuclei to be noted.
Hydrogen or methane?
There are some theories in which steam can appear at these heights. According to one of them, at the middle latitude in the summer of the year, at an altitude of 25-30 km, the airflow emerged to form a steam to Mesopause, where steam frozen and form silver clouds. In fact, increasing moisture in those seasons is established on those latitudes and at the level of silver clouds formed.
“According to another hypothesis, called” sun rain “, the steam at these heights is formed when the hydrogen atoms fly to the earth from the sun, with the oxygen atoms of the upper layers of the earth's atmosphere.
The question of the nature of nuclear particles condenses for the formation of silver clouds is still unclear. Currently, the hypothesis about the origin of the cosmic nucleus is preferred, the scientist noted. She also recalled the hypotheses, accordingly the formation of silver clouds related to high concentration of methane, which could increase to a height of 80 km, in which, interacting with meteor dust, turning into ice crystals.
As previously reported in Moscow's journalism service through Moscow, the last days of June will be the best to observe silver clouds, in general, they can appear during the summer.
