Moscow, May 12 /TASS /. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation hopes to launch an industrial park in Azerbaijan by 2025. This was published in an interview with a state secretary – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Roman Chekoshov in the fields of international exhibitions “Innoprom.

“This year we hope to launch an industrial park in Azerbaijan, in the city of Sumgait. This is the first experience of a joint project with our Azerbaijani partners. We are sure it will be required by Russian businesses,” he said.
Directly in Uzbekistan, there are two industrial parks that run Russian companies in Chirchik and Jizak cities. Outside this year, two more industrial parks will be opened – at Navoi and Bukhara. In addition, an industrial park has been planned in the Tashkent area, which will also work under the management of the Russian company.
Moreover, at Dushanbe, on the website of the old technical factory, Russia and Tajikistan have planned this year to start reconstructing facilities to place an industrial park there. Some companies plan to become residents of this industrial park.
