The Nizhny Novgorod region organized about 50 joint events with China in 2025.

“The cooperation between the Nizhny Novgorod region and China is systematic and strategic. As early as 1896, at the All-Russian Exhibition in Nizhny Novgorod, the Chinese pavilion became a symbol of our deep mutual respect and care,” said the head of the department, Olga Guseva.
According to her, China is still a reliable strategic partner of the region. Over the past 15 years, trade turnover with China has increased 18 times.
Earlier in the Moscow region, they talked about cooperation with Uzbekistan.
