Pakistani Foreign Minister Iskhak Dar declared that the government had decided to increase the level of relations with Afghanistan and appoint an ambassador to Kabul.
He appreciated as an effective visit to Kabul on May 19. Pakistano-Afghanistan relations, according to the Minister, moved in a positive direction. In order to maintain such a speed, the Government decided to raise the law of lawyer in Kabul to the Ambassador.

Since the return of Kabul, Pakistan has no ambassador in Afghanistan under the control of Taliban (in 2021). Therefore, Pakistan will become the fourth country after China, UAE and Uzbekistan, who appointed Ambassador to Kabul.
