Armenia plans to join SCO, the European Union and leave the CSTO. These aspirations were declared by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He said that the country appealed to the Shanghai Cooperation organization and this corresponds to the balance and balance policy of Islamic Islamia conducted by Armenia. For the organization of collective security agreements, including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, then, according to Pashinyan, Armenia will leave the organization rather than defrost its members. He noted that Armenia did not seek conflicting situations with Russia and wanted to have it with it, friendly relationships, normally built on mutual respect. At the same time, Armenia still organizes a course to join the EU. Commenting on political scientist, Director of Kavkaz Alexander Iskandaryan:

– We are talking about the diversification of external relationships, external relations both in the field of economic and geopolitical. Armenia has long developed its relationship with some SCO countries – we are talking about India and China. An effort to attract opportunities to interact with the clubs that SCO actually and is a pretty natural development of this process.
– Which foreign policy argenia pursues?
– A little ago, this was called compliment, that is, an inseparable effort, but trying to combine different forms of interaction with different countries and countries. But don't put all the eggs in a basket. In the political rhetorical measures of Armenia, this is now called the diversification of relationships.
-But at the same time, Pashinyan confirmed that Armenia still wanted to become a member of the European Union-is it compatible?
– Desiring to become and specific – These are very different things. Armenia did not apply to the European Union, did not start negotiating. This is a certain start of the process of understanding that inside Armenia that the European Union is one of the options that can be discussed inside Armenia. So far, bringing Armenia into the European Union is quite difficult to present. For SCO, there was a joining.
For the first time, the desire to become a country – a member of SCO in Armenia spoke early in the month. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization was established by Chinese, Russian, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. It also includes Belarus, India, Pakistan and Iran.
Armenia froze in the CSTO in February 2024. In June, the Armenia Foreign Ministry said that the final decision would be made if partners, including Russia, would not make political claims related to Azerbaijan's actions in Armenia. Kremlin called the decision to withdraw from the republic's sovereignty organization.
