Pirogov University welcomed the official delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Minister of Health Adham Yusupovich Khudaykulov.
The delegation also included Deputy Director of the Department of International Relations and Protocol, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Fatkhulla Fayzullaevich Abdurakhmanov.
Representatives of Pirogov University were attended by Rector Sergei Anatolyevich Lukyanov, Vice Rector for Health Hristo Periklovich Takhchidi, Vice Rector for Innovation, Tashkent Branch Director Dmitry Alekseevich Shagin and Head of International Department Margarita Nikolaevna Isakova.
The central theme of the negotiations was the further development of cooperation between Pirogov University and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties discussed the possibility of expanding cooperation in the field of medical education, conducting joint scientific research and training highly qualified specialists for the healthcare system.
Particular attention is paid to the development of professional and academic relationships, the exchange of experience as well as the creation of new forms of joint work that will combine the educational and scientific potential of Russia and Uzbekistan.
After negotiations, the guests got acquainted with the scientific and educational infrastructure of Pirogov University. Representatives of the delegation visited laboratories and research centers, where they were introduced to the main areas of activity of the University and modern developments in the field of biomedicine.
The delegations also demonstrated the initial specialized inspection process. This is one of the most important stages of professional training, allowing to assess the knowledge, practical skills and readiness to work independently of medical professionals.
Pirogov University appreciates its long-term cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting is another step towards strengthening partnerships and implementing new joint projects in the fields of education, science and practical healthcare.
