VDNKh invites you to attend “Prodvizhenie-2026” – a large-scale automobile festival. It will take place at the country's main exhibition for the second time. Last year, the car festival attracted 270 thousand visitors and became the most popular summer event at VDNKh. This season will last twice as long and for four days it will transform the show into a giant open car showroom where everyone can find the car of their dreams.
From July 30 to August 2, VDNH will become a platform to demonstrate technical and design solutions from different eras. The exhibits will occupy all the main areas of the exhibition – from the main entrance arch to Nalchik Square. More than 300 cars will be displayed throughout the territory, including historical models of the domestic and foreign auto industry, rare supercars, classic minibuses and car prototypes of the future.
Festival-goers will not only enjoy a show, but will also enjoy a dynamic program of horseback riding. On August 1 and 2, Oktyabrskaya Square will become an arena for drifting and extreme riding: demonstration races of leading sports teams and performances of famous motorcyclists will take place here. On the same day, the classic car parade will take place on the Industrial Square.
On the main stage near Exhibition Hall No. 1 “Central Region”, introductions of new products from the automobile industry will take place throughout the days of the festival. “Aurus”, “Volga” and “Atom” will present their new models; These will be public performances. Also on July 30, Rox will announce on the same stage the launch of production at the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant.
For fans of non-standard modifications, a separate “Custom Gate” platform will be active at the festival. It will contain 12 legendary cars of the first half of the 20th century and 20 of the best customized motorcycles of the 21st century. The exhibition will feature restored high-speed hot rods and unique custom bikes, transformed in award-winning workshops in Russia. The most spectacular event will be the parade of unique equipment on July 31: hot rods, customized motorbikes and exclusive bicycles will pass through the VDNKh territory.
Along the VDNKh central alley, exclusive domestic and foreign car models will be displayed on special platforms. Many of them are one-of-a-kind examples that have never been shown at any other world motoring event. Among the unique exhibits are the Moskvich-408 Tourist convertible, the Molniya concept car, the homemade Yuna car and the Lada Revolution racing car prototype.
In the “Alley of the Future” area, visitors will see developments that will appear on the streets in 5, 10 and 15 years. Near the exhibition and trade center of the Republic of Kazakhstan there will be the Navio L5 autonomous cargo tractor, the unmanned vehicle model “EvoCargo”, the first concept car “Hummingbird” and other promising projects.
10 exclusive foreign cars will be displayed on the podium between the monument to Vladimir Lenin and the Central Pavilion. These are small-scale and exclusive models that can be called exotic and are experiments of the foreign auto industry. The main stars of the exhibition will be two cars familiar to millions of viewers: Ford Mustang Eleanor from the hit movie Gone in 60 Seconds and Ford Anglia from the magical story Harry Potter.
The southern gate arch area of VDNKh will become a meeting place for rare car collectors and owners. They will present their cars at the country's major exhibition and will also have the opportunity to interact with like-minded people. Visitors to the festival will see historical, modern and promising examples of the automotive industry. The exhibition will be open for two days: August 1 and 2, with 50 unique samples each day.
In the year of the 65th anniversary of the conquest of space, the festival will have a separate area dedicated to Yuri Gagarin: near the pavilion of the Republic of Uzbekistan there will be an exhibition of photos and cars related to the life of the astronaut. Nearby there will be exhibitions dedicated to three important anniversaries of the domestic auto industry: the 80th anniversary of Moskvich, the 70th anniversary of the 21st Volga and the 60th anniversary of the Volzhsky Automobile Plant.
The ProDvizhenie-2026 festival does not forget about the youngest guests. Separate areas have been prepared for them where they can compete in car races, take master classes and play board games. All areas are focused on developing interest in automobiles, educational institutions, and family entertainment.
The final stage of the Moscow Cup for the Historic Race will occupy a special place in the ProDvizheniya program. 100 of the best racing teams driving unique cars from the 1930s to the 1980s will compete for victory. This is the largest and highest level competition for historical cars in Russia.
During Promotion days, visitors will enjoy culinary programs. On August 1, at the House of Russian Cuisine, the culinary team of the Russian Culinary Map project will organize master cooking classes and food tastings for backpacking lovers. The menu includes ancient Russian koloboki pies, corned venison, lingonberry kettles, quick porridge, Altai tok-chok and other dishes. Additionally, using the code word “Promotion-2026”, you can get 10% off food and drinks at more than 25 VDNKh culinary spots for all four days.
The event will feature an extensive musical program. On August 1-2, the Green Theater will host the first All-Russian Soviet Song Festival “Voice of the Heirs” at VDNKh. All four days, famous hosts, speakers, DJs as well as cover bands The Kitchers and The Party Band will perform on the main stage at Pavilion No. 1 “Central”. The leader on August 1 will be the TMNV group. On the evening of August 2, the Russian-Chinese rock music festival NAMI will take place with the participation of the groups “Slot”, “Fiend”, “Cities”, as well as Chinese artists “Cosmic Guest” and Erguna Band.
