Russian President Vladimir Putin held the sidelines of the Summit of the Asian Economic Union (EAEU) at Minsk a meeting with a colleague from Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
This has been announced by the press secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
The bilateral meeting of President Putin with President Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev took place, he said.
Earlier, Putin went to the independent palace in Minsk to participate in the EAEU summit.
