During the scuffle, the customer sprayed a gas canister at his opponent, causing him to face down on the floor. At that moment, the suspected thief passed out. He was hospitalized in critical condition but could not be saved.
After the incident, 3 men were arrested, the 4th person fled. Investigators opened a criminal case, then reclassified him under a more serious provision of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
