Rammstein leader Till Lindemann's concert on January 9 in Tashkent attracted a large foreign audience, mainly from Russia. Director of the company organizing IOSIS SHOW, Dmitry Menshikov, told RIA Novosti about this. The show took place at the Axelon Karting Center in Anhor Park as part of Lindemann's Meine Welt solo tour of Central Asia. “More than half of the tourists come from other countries, the majority from Russia,” Menshikov said. According to a reporter from this agency, the concert venue with a capacity of about 8 thousand people was about 80% filled. Tickets to the dance area cost about 1.2 million soum (100 USD), for the fan area – 1.6 million soum (130 USD), for the VIP area – 4 million soum (330 USD). During his speech, Lindemann repeatedly addressed the audience in Russian, and at the end of his speech, he thanked the audience with the words “Danke, thank you!” At the end of October, hundreds of people protested against Lindemann in Germany. 400 protesters arrived at the Leipzig Opera building, where Lindemann was expected to attend a traditional opera ball. They stormed the red carpet shouting “What a shame!” At the same time, he opposes the sexual violence and abuse of power that the male singer was previously accused of. Hundreds of police blocked attempts to break into the ball. At the same time, the 62-year-old rock musician arrived late to the event – by the time he arrived, the protesters had already left.
