Sverdlovsk Region sent a batch of textbooks, workbooks and teaching materials to Indonesia to learn Russian. This was reported by the press service of the regional government.
They clarified that the project was carried out with the support of the Russian House of Representatives in Jakarta. This event is another step towards strengthening the long-standing friendly relations between the Central Urals and Indonesia.
“In addition to Indonesia, the geography of events in the region this year includes Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan: tours of creative groups are organized, children's novels and educational materials are sent, vocational summer camps are organized for children learning Russian,” said Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Previously, the regional government announced that it was building diplomatic relations with Bahrain, Mexico, Peru and Sri Lanka. As Ural Meridian news agency wrote, during the XV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, Regional Deputy Governor Vasily Kozlov held negotiations with the ambassadors extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Mexico, Peru and Sri Lanka in Russia. Minister of International Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs of the Sverdlovsk Region Vyacheslav Yarin met with the Ambassador of Bahrain.
