Tashkent, September 19 /TASS /. The Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry has sent notes to the General Prosecutor and Ukrainian prosecutors related to the retention of 13 Uzbekistians in slavery. This has been announced by the press minister of the diplomatic departments of Uzbekistan Akhror Burkhanov.
On Friday, the Kiev Regional Prosecutor's office announced that a group of people organized 13 Uzbekistan citizens in Kiev's inhumane conditions to exploit labor. The four members of the group were detained, they were charged with a particularly serious crime.
In this regard, the Embassy of the Republic of the Republic of Ukraine left the place to clarify the situation, they put citizens in one of the local hospitals. “The Embassy has handled the situation with our citizens under complete control and taken all the necessary measures to return to Uzbekistan. In particular, the relevant notes have been sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Prosecutor Office on providing consular and legal assistance for Uzbekistan citizens.
In addition, the Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry recommends that its citizens abandon tourism to Ukraine. Regarding the situation in Ukraine, which can cause threats to everyone's lives, we recommend that Uzbekistan's citizens currently have no plans to visit this country, taking into account their own security, the press secretary of Uzbek Dipeling summarized.
