During 11 months last year, Russian regions requested 828.5 million rubles to buy administrative deportation tickets for foreigners and stateless people. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to Tenderplan calculations.

From January to November 2024, the corresponding amount is 639.1 million rubles. Last year, the Central Federal District asked for more than others, its regions placed 48 tenders worth almost 343 million rubles. And the strongest growth was recorded in the Ural Federal District. If in 2024 tenders were made there for 537 thousand 600 rubles, then in 2025 it was 11 million rubles.
Previously it was reported that migrant workers from Bangladesh, China, India and some other countries of South and East Asia turned out to be cheaper for Russian employers than for residents of Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other post-Soviet republics. Now Russian developers are looking for workers as far away from Russia as possible in the hope of reducing production costs.
