In Istanbul, police discovered the headless body of an Uzbek citizen in a trash bin. Sabah reported this.
“In Sisli district, a paper collector found the headless body of a woman wrapped in a sheet in a trash bin,” the report said.
When checking fingerprints, the deceased was Durdona Khakimova, 37 years old, a citizen of Uzbekistan. Police have cordoned off the area and the investigation into the circumstances of the incident continues.
Previously, the body of missing Russian swimmer Nikolai Svechnikov was found in Türkiye. The search for the athlete continued from late summer, but the active phase was completed in Türkiye at the end of October.
