From the beginning of 2026, passenger transportation on suburban routes begins to be carried out by a new company – KaMel-Avto LLC. The townspeople were faced with a number of problems.
Immediately after the New Year, Kirov residents complained about the deterioration of traffic quality on routes No. 129 “Kirov – Kostino”, No. 136 “Kirov – Russkoe”, No. 104 “Kirov – Bakhta”, No. 143 “Kirov – Basharovo” and No. 146 “Kirov – Sosnovy”. Residents noted frequent bus delays and overcrowding, especially in the morning.
Kirov authorities conducted checks based on people's requests. The raid showed that the arriving buses were actually overcrowded and that the cause of the delay was constant congestion on Moskovskaya Street at the entrance to the city.
One of the reasons for the disruption was that one of the big buses broke down, causing a shortage of transport. But the main problem is still traffic congestion.
Carrier representatives acknowledged the temporary difficulties and said they were taking steps to normalize the situation. The authorities propose to change traffic patterns at the intersection of Moskovskaya and Stroiteley streets to reduce bus delays.
Next week, the authorities will conduct additional inspections to evaluate the effectiveness of the measures taken.
