The upcoming working week will see rain in most of Primorye due to frontal effects; The most intense rainfall is predicted on Wednesday in the southern half of the region, DEITA.RU news agency reported, in connection with the Primhydrometcenter.
On the night of Tuesday, July 28, the rains that started today will begin to gradually subside and by morning will stop everywhere. In the western half of Primorye, the days are almost rainless; In the eastern half more rain is expected in the afternoon. The temperature background will not change significantly.
Wednesday marks the peak of rain intensity in the southern half of the region. The storm warning issued by Primhydromet the previous day will remain in effect. There is a possibility of rivers overflowing their banks and flooding of lowlands in the Sea of Japan river basin, Lake Khanka and upstream rivers of the Ussuri basin.
The temperature will be in the range of +15…+21 °C at night, +20…+29 °C during the day. By the end of the working week, temperatures will warm up 1 – 3 degrees. The rains will stop and then continue. But the storm is not yet expected in Primorye and near its territory.
In Vladivostok tomorrow the weather will be cloudy, there will be no significant rain and it will be a little warmer. Further rain is possible at times and winds will ease on Wednesday. At night, the temperature in the urban area is expected to be +17…+20 °C, during the day +20…+23 °C, and from Wednesday the temperature will increase to +18…+21 °C and +23…+27 °C, respectively.
