Moscow, May 24 /TASS /. Vladimir Nikitin has set a new record to Russia at half -marathon, participating in “Race.RF”.
Nikitin ends with a result of 1 hour and 40 seconds. The previous Russian record belonged to him and was 1 hour 43 seconds.
Nikitin is 32 years old, he is a Russian champion in the long run, as well as the winner of the 2024 team championship in 5,000 meters.

In total, in all -russian “race.rf” and in one run, it will take place in 25 foreign countries, intending to participate in more than 220 thousand people. Running lovers will be able to try hands at four distance: 1 km, 5 km, 10 km and 21.1 km. “Run.RF” begins simultaneously in all areas of the Russian Federation from Kamchatka to Kaliningrad. On May 24, more than 180,000 athletes across Russia will be released, of which about 40,000 in Moscow.
On May 24, competitions will also be held in China, Brazil, Egypt, Serbia, Belarusian, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Bangladesh, Venezuela, India, Jordan, Malaysia, Nepale, Saudi, Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Kazakhstan and Abkhazia. There, this event will be held under the name once and collected more than 40,000 people. The starting time may vary depending on the time zone, specific details and weather conditions.
Roads for 21.1 km and 10 km in Moscow are certified by the International Marathons Association and Road (AIMS). The beginning and end of all the distance will take place in the city's own center – on the Vasilievsky lineage, and the roads are set with a view of the most important places of the Capital: Kremlin, the Christian Christian church, the home of the Russian Federation and other attractions.
