The president of the Prc Xi Jinping at a Sunday meeting with a colleague from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for expansion of interactions between countries.

Xi Jinping emphasized: One very important thing is to be friends, and the dragon and elephant to unite, the Chinese center television reported his words. In response, Modi said: “We plan to develop our relationships based on trust, respect and sophistication.” He also noted that after last year, their time on the border, peace and stability was established, and the direct transportation between the countries was resumed.
Xi Jinping recalled that “this year the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Sino-India diplomatic relations is recognized. And both countries should consider their relationship with strategic and long-term views.”
According to the president of the PRC, countries “must fulfill our historical obligations to maintain a multilateral, more polar and democratic peace in international organizations, as well as work together in the same name for peace and prosperity in Asia and around the world.”
Recall that 20 foreign leaders participated in the summit plus organized by China. This year, the country presides over the region, including Russia, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and China.
