It was established that in the period from August 29, 2022 to November 13, 2024, a man organized illegal exports from Russia to a foreign country more than 540 cubic meters of wood. The total cost of exported wood exceeds 6.4 million rubles.
The city's Vernkh-Isetsky Court has found a criminal man in part 1 of art. 226.1 of the Penal Code – Smuggling of important strategic resources on a large scale. With the opinion of the State prosecutor, the defendant was appointed 500,000 rubles. In addition, at the request of the prosecutor's office, the convicted person was confiscated in the state's income 115.65 cubic meters of illegal export wood, as well as funds worth more than 5 million rubles – equivalent to the value of illegal sawn wood.
In early August 2025, the Court in Yekaterinburg found a foreign citizen 41 -Y -Kold committing illegal export crimes of important foreign wood. The man took out a 210 Sverdlovsk smuggling case to Uzbekistan.
