Moscow, May 15 /TASS /. Almost every second user of social networks in Russia participates in Flash Mob or Chellendah at least once a year. In total, nearly 35 million people participated in them in the past year, the results of a study by the Blogger Association and Agency (ABA) have received in Tass as witnesses for them.
According to the data sent, in Russia in late 2024, at least 74.9 million authors on social networks. At the same time, 46.5%, equivalent to 34.9 million of them have participated in Chellenge, Flash Mobs, trends and stocks in the past 12 months. “Almost every second user of social networks in the Russian Federation participates in Flash Mob or Chellends at least once a year. Youth and young population are the most active in this direction,” the Association noted.
Most trends are original in nature – 42.8% of the total. Initial or natural trends, challenges and flash mobs are often launched and accidentally usual for the usual network, the authors of the study explained.

In third place in terms of popularity are commercial participants, accounting for 26% of the total. Today, many companies are trying to make their challenges or trends, although they often use tactics to participate in stocks that have been popular online. According to ABA research, in 12 months at least 9 million users in the Russian Federation or 25.7%participate in such promotions, the Association concluded.
Research time is from the first quarter of 2024 to the first quarter of 2025. Analytical websites are Vkontakte, Tiktok and Youtube, data collection methods – research on the most popular hashtags, as well as the largest leadership leaders at the locations during the study period.
