— A Muscovite pretended to have cancer for almost a year and defrauded a woman of about two million rubles from a dating website. The 38-year-old introduced himself as a successful businessman and after six months of communication, he said he was being treated for cancer in Israel and because his accounts were frozen, he was in dire need of money, the publication said.
As a result, the deception was revealed and the woman contacted the police. Security forces discovered that this impostor businessman had been living in Zelenograd all this time. A fraud case was opened against him. Law enforcement officers are determining his whereabouts.
