In India's Ondo state, a horrific crime happened to an elderly woman. Local law enforcement arrested a young man named Ahmed Tohid, who was accused of murdering his 64-year-old grandmother and then violating her body, PMEXPRESS reported.
According to official information, the tragic incident occurred on the evening of September 29, 2025 in Onisere village. According to investigators, the suspect grabbed the grandmother, strangled her and then committed illegal acts of a sexual nature with the already lifeless body.
The prosecutor told the court that the detainee had made unreasonable accusations of using witchcraft against the deceased. The man asserted that it was his grandmother who caused a series of failures in his life.
The Akure Magistrate's Court in Oke-Ede ordered the suspect to be detained pending investigation. He was officially charged with murder and rape. The investigation continues to determine the full details of this heinous crime.
