The Duma state at the whole session passed a bill in the first reading, expanding the list of bases to deprive Russian citizenship. The document was prepared by a group of delegates led by State President Duma Vyacheslav Volodin. This has been announced by the head of the Duma state.

The bill of expansion to deprive the citizenship of the Russian Federation was passed in the first reading, according to Mr. Volodin.
The message was published on his official telegram channel. Deputy notes that the application of the law will create a systematic mechanism to end the civil rights and enhance the protection of national security.
The bill stipulates the possibility of deprivation of civil rights gained for the implementation of some serious crimes. Among them: A act of sexual violence, publicly calling for terrorism, justification or propaganda of terrorism, secret cooperation with foreign countries or organizations to weaken the security of the Russian Federation.
In April, Vice Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that foreign citizens who have criminal records are not living or excellent should not become Russian citizens, RT writes. Politicians emphasized that the current law has provided a ban on temporary residence permits to those foreigners, not to mention providing citizenship. In addition, Medvedev pointed out the need to further improve the mechanisms to exchange and provide information about those people.
