Acceptance of applications from applicants for admission to universities, majors and basic higher education funded by the budget has been completed. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science told that nearly 1.3 million people submitted 4.3 million applications through Gosuslugi.
“The acceptance of applications from applicants for admission to budget-funded institutions at the bachelor's, specialized and basic higher education levels is complete. Nearly 1.3 million people (about 94% of applicants) have submitted 4.3 million applications through the State Service,” the announcement said.
Of the applications, 58% were submitted for full-time study; 16% – part-time; 27% – for correspondence. Among the most popular fields of training are: technical education and pedagogy, computer science and computer technology, information systems and technology.
