Patriarch Kirill said some clerics who left Russia “said there was no need to read this prayer: we might offend someone, we would be misunderstood.”
“I am happy that the people who were with us, but not ours, left us. And they will probably never return to Russia,” the patriarch concluded.
Previously, Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov he saidthat artists who have left Russia and participated in discrediting the country from abroad could be placed on a “shame board.”
