Artists who betray their homeland and discredit them abroad will have a place of shame. This opinion was expressed by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, on Tuesday, July 28.
As the politician stated in a comment RIA Novostieveryone must understand whose work they are listening to, so that traitorous artists lose the opportunity to make money in Russia at the expense of their patriotic compatriots.
Konstantinov believes that those who do not care about the values and interests of their country, exchanging them for “cheap and hypocritical praise from the Western public”, deserve such treatment.
