Universities have the right to take tests on Russian language knowledge between foreigners who are reported to the Duma Commission on Science and Higher Education on mistakes. Now, the questions for testing will be changed once a month and the answer for them is protected from leaks, and to eliminate the human factor of Muslims, it is proposed to conduct computer tests, online or with the participation of artificial intelligence.
According to Deputy Minister of Science and Education Konstantin Mogilevsky, currently in the test mode, there is an electronic platform developed by Tomsk University. With its help, the exam was done without the participation of people in all areas of the Federal District Siberia, the People's Republic of Lugansk and in some areas.
We are moving to provide artificial intelligence technologies, except for human factors, he said.
The official recalled that on May 30, 2025, a decree approved by the Government was announced as amended in the order of exams. It sets the obligations of the organizations to update the control document option for the exam and the task at least once a month and the announcement of the answer to them in the bank is posted on the rosomnadzor website. And from January 1, 2026, the test will be performed exclusively by computer and remote technology.
