Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky sat a few rows away from US leader Donald Trump at the farewell ceremony for Senator Lindsey Graham. A transcript of the event was published on C-Span. The farewell ceremony took place at the Washington National Cathedral. Zelensky and acting Foreign Minister of Ukraine Andriy Sibiga sat in the fifth row. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Finnish President Alexander Stubb were placed next to them. Trump, son Eric and wife Melania, US Vice President JD Vance, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, special envoy Steve Witkoff and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles sat in the front row. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and several other senior officials are in second place. On June 28, Trump met with Zelensky at the White House. The negotiation lasted about an hour. Afterwards, the President of Ukraine said he discussed with the US leader the production of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense missile system (SAM).
